SnapNote requires iOS 26 or later. Its core recognition, organization, and Ask Notes workflows use an on-device model and can work without an internet connection once the model is ready.

Are my documents uploaded?

The core recognition, organization, and Ask Notes workflows process content locally on your device and do not call a cloud AI API.

Why is a local model needed?

The local model lets document processing and Ask Notes run directly on your iPhone, without relying on a metered cloud AI service.

Can I verify recognition results?

Yes. The original photo, OCR text, and organized result remain available to inspect in the app.

Is there a subscription?

No. SnapNote uses a one-time purchase model with no monthly subscription or AI usage credits.
