Your documents stay on your device.
SnapNote uses an on-device model for its core recognition, organization, and Ask Notes workflows. It does not call a cloud AI API.
On-device processing
Photos, scans, OCR text, organized notes, and questions are processed locally on your iPhone during the core document workflow. We do not send your document content to our servers to provide these AI features.
Data collection
SnapNote does not use your document content to build advertising profiles and does not sell your private material. Local processing does not require a SnapNote account.
Your control
The original image, OCR text, and organized result remain available for verification. You can inspect, export, or delete your own content on your device.
System services
App Store downloads, purchase verification, and system services are handled by Apple under its privacy policies. They do not change the local architecture of SnapNote's core AI workflow.
